About William Wodhams

Prior to writing novels, William was an award-winning advertising copywriter, and has inspired people all over the country with the life-changing possibilities of aftershave, hamburgers, and drywall. William has a BA in English & Cultural Studies from McMaster University. 

 

William’s stories have appeared in literary journals and have been recognized in national writing competitions. His first novel, Declan Tucker’s Grand Debut, was published in 2024. Thirty Feet Under was named a finalist for the 2024 Crime Writers of Canada Best Unpublished Crime Novel Award. It was published by ECW Press in 2026 and is now available in local bookstores and online. 

 

William grew up in Georgetown, Ontario. He currently lives in Vancouver, BC. with his wife and an ill-behaved dog. 

 

He is occasionally funny.
